A typeface for the City of Wetteren

Collaborating with Coming Soon, I crafted a corporate identity centered on a bespoke stencil font. Drawing inspiration from the flow of the river "De Schelde" that courses through the city, Wetteren Stencil was designed to infuse the new visual identity with uniqueness and memorability. This typeface offers versatility, accommodating various techniques such as die-cutting and stencilling. Through this distinctive font, the branding aims to establish a dialogue between the city and its inhabitants. This concept comes to life in drone photography, where the typeface is integrated into public spaces, intertwining with people as they walk around or over it.
